Juliet Young has always written letters to her mother, a world-traveling photojournalist. Even after her mother’s death, she leaves letters at her grave. It’s the only way Juliet can cope.

Declan Murphy isn’t the sort of guy you want to cross. In the midst of his court-ordered community service at the local cemetery, he’s trying to escape the demons of his past.

When Declan reads a haunting letter left beside a grave, he can’t resist writing back. Soon, he’s opening up to a perfect stranger, and their connection is immediate. But neither of them knows that they’re not actually strangers. When real life at school interferes with their secret life of letters, Juliet and Declan discover truths that might tear them apart. This emotional, compulsively-readable romance will sweep everyone off their feet.

  1. I cannot wait to read this book. I picked up Thicker than water, enjoyed it so much that I goggled any other books by this author. Loved the Elemental series. Read the whole five in a matter of weeks (work and study got in the road)

  2. I came across Storm first and absolutely loved it. Immediately got the next one and loved that even more and the series just kept getting better and better. I couldn’t put it down till I’d read them all and then I went searching for more like a true addict 😄 Thicker than water did not disappoint. I absolutely love that the stories are so well written, with characters that are interesting and likeable and best of all, not Hollywood perfect, which makes them even more perfect to me. Even in paranormal, they feel realistic. And the books are not drowning in just physical attraction but unfolds in a way that molds romance into a thrilling story perfectly, giving the same if not a better feeling. It builds. Which in my humble opinion is an attribute of a really good author; the ability to capture an audience and make them connect with the story, keep them reading and fall in love with it. I loved every book. They were excellent reads. Brigid Kemmer, to me, is a truly talented author. Can’t wait for the next book.

  3. I honestly love all of your books. I read the elemental series and fell in love with Nick. After reading those I wanted to read another book that I couldn’t put down and found out that you write the book Thicker Than Water and loved that book too (really hoping that there if going to be a sequel,I need more!). Now I can’t wait for this book. I have an obsession with tie books and can’t wait for more.

  4. Yay! Another book. So excited for this! Your an inspirational author. I don’t know how you manage to produce so many high quality books as well as work and be a family woman.

  5. Hi! I just wanted give a quick appreciation to you and this book. I was one of the lucky few teenagers who is able to read and review ‘Letters For The Lost’ before it is published. I just finished it today. I have to say it’s one of the best book I have read. It’s very raw. I don’t usually say this but this book touched my heart and made me cry. I was able to relate to it surprisingly very much. Thank you. As a teenager, I know what it is to have your whole life be consumed by pain, fear, and regret by one incident, one day. This book has really made me open my mind to change and to courage. So once again, I thank you. You’re a true inspiration!

  6. Wow, I just finished this book literally minutes ago and I’m still trying to process the ending. Letters to the lost is one of those books you read and finish and then go, ‘What now?’ I really loved how honest and beautiful this story is and I can’t wait to start reading some of your other works!
